Extended Tours

Spend two fabulous days exploring the Molle Group of islands - kayaking, swimming, snorkeling on fringing coral reefs and having fun in the sun! This region has World Heritage listing and our eco-friendly kayaks are excellent for viewing and photographing wildlife including turtles, sea eagles, dolphins and whales ( seasonal). Camp out at night on a tropical island and take in spectacular sunsets. Enjoy the companionship of other paddlers and share stories over dinner and drinks under the stars.

We supply: Top quality double and single kayaks and accessories, snorkeling gear / stinger suits, dry bags and camping gear including tents, thermarest mattresses and sleeping bags/ inserts, all meals, tea/coffee etc.
You should bring: Hat, sunscreen, footwear,water bottle, waterproof camera, swimmers & toiletries etc.

Salty Dog Sea Kayaking is a pioneer of expedition sea kayaking in the Whitsunday
Islands.

During our six-day expedition, we paddle and set up camp amongst the area's 70 +
islands. Hook & Whitsunday Islands are favourites with their spectacular beaches,
rugged coastlines & tranquil lagoons. The islands' secluded bays & hidden inlets
have a rich Aborigional history with ancient campsites and hidden cave paintings .

Home to manta rays, turtles, dolphins and rare dugongs, the Whitsundays is truly a
tropical marine paradise.

The diversity and colour of the marine life & fringing coral reefs which surround
many of the islands has to be seen to be believed. From July to September, you may
even encounter the magnificent humpback & pilot whales which migrate to these
protected waters each year to mate & breed.

With approximately 4 hours paddling each day, there's plenty of time for swimming,
snorkelling, fishing or just taking it easy.

catered, one-way or return, camping or luxury resort style accommodation. We can even
organise a SCUBA dive en-route!
